April 25-27, PigCHAMP attended the 4th European Symposim of Porcine Health Management (ESPHM). This year it was held at Bruges and was attended by over 850 participants and 250 abstracts submitted, two of them presented by PigCHAMP:
1.-Cutting Costs and Reducing CO2 Emissions with Energy saving techniques in lactation barns. With the aim of reducing costs, economic and energy, and improve productivity of the litters (growth and mortality), the use of nests for suckling piglets was successfully assessed.
