We moved our headquarters

Since last October 27, the headquarters of PigCHAMP Pro Europa, SL has changed. Now we are in the C / Santa Catalina number 10, in the district of San Lorenzo (in Segovia capital), in the same street as the livestock section of the Junta de Castilla y Leon.We hope and expect your visit!

PigCHAMP Pro Europa collaborates as sponsor in the II International Meeting of Animal Feeding and Animal y Seguridad Alimentaria

PigCHAMP Pro Europa collaborates as sponsor in the II International Meeting of Animal Feeding and Food Safety, which will be hold in Lleida next 19th – 20th October. This second edition of the Congress emerged with the aim of reflecting on the current and future perspective of feed producing for pigs and the big challenges in Food Safety for the immediate future.

New project of PigCHAMP Pro Europa: INNPACTO

PigCHAMP Pro Europa takes part in a new R&D project from the programme INNPACTO from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. The project is coordinated by PigCHAMP Pro Europa, and comprises 3 other partners: University of Zaragoza, Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, and Zeu Inmunotec. The aim of the project, of three years of duration, is to develop robust methods for the determination of acute phase proteins in domestic animals, which can be incorporated into automatic analysers.

A new Doctor in PigCHAMP Pro Europa SL

Recently, Gustavo González Cordero from the department of Projects and Trials of PigCHAMP Pro Europa SL defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Use of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) in swine feeding" that resulted in the rating of Excellent. The event was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and was directed by Professors: Dr. Clemente López Bote, Dr. Beatriz Isabel Redondo and Dr. David Menon Luque.

Sepor has a great program this year

In these complicated days is increasingly difficult to maintain the level in the organization of conferences, Both issues to address (although this difficulty is not new) and by the economic difficulties resulting from the restrictions by autonomous and domestic institutions and commercial sponsors in financial support to them. All in all it has achieved a good program.

ASAS Joint Annual Meeting in Denver

Once again PigCHAMP Pro Europa year has attended the annual conference organized by the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS), in this case the Issue No. 88, held in Denver between 11 and 15 July. The Congress was held in conjunction with the PSA, AMPA and CSAS, and had over 4000 attendees. PigCHAMP presented four papers, which is now accessible through the website of the ASAS:

IPVS Symposium in Vancouver

PigCHAMP Pro Europa attended the celebration of 21 th International Pig Veterinary Society (IPVS) Congress held in Vancouver between 18 and 21 July. Involving some 2500 participants from all over the world, presenting more than 1000 communications related to aspects of Swine Health.

PigCHAMP Pro Europa contributed five works (pp. 212, 395, 670, 678 and 1182 Proceedings Book.)

ROBINA FARMS visit Spain

Filipino Madelozo, Group Manager of Nucleus Herd, Librada Dizon, Farm Veterinarian and Noime Mercado, Farm Head AI Center all of them from the group Robina Farms were visiting Spain. Hope it was a fruitful visit.
