The XXXVIII Anaporc Congress will be held on September 21 and 22 in Seville. This event is being organised since 1979, bringing together the most outstanding professionals of the sector, and making the symposium an international technical reference.
In this edition, the presentations of the Congress will be focused on the work and results generated within the PROHEALTH Project, focused on sustainable pig and poultry production. The opening of the Congress will be made by Tyler Cozzens of the Foreign Agricultural Services, USDA, who will present the global production and price forecasts for 2017. The other talks will be presented by experts such as Dominiek Maes (University of Ghent) Sandra Edwards and Ilias Kyriazakis (University of Newcastle and PROHEALTH Project Coordinator), Nathalie Le Floc’h (INRA, France), Neil Foster (University of Nottingham), Ivan Rychlik (Veterinary Research Institute – Czech Republic) and Jarkko Niemi, (LUKE Finland).
