DatAgri 2018, the forum for the promotion of digital transformation in the agri-food sector, will gather more than 1,500 professionals in Cordoba on November 26 and 27 to analyze the present and future of agriculture 4.0. María Aparicio, Head of the Department of management and data analysis of PigCHAMP, will present a case of success in livestock through the application of new technologies.
DatAgri 2018 pursues three objectives: to promote the digital transformation in the agri-food chain, to raise awareness of successful cases of digital transformation, technologies and innovation and to help reduce barriers to the implementation of digital transformation, to create standards of good practice and opportunities for collaboration.
The program is divided into a double day of presentations (Forum day) and demonstrations on the field (Farming day). The inauguration will be led by the European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Phil Hogan, the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development of the Junta de Andalucía, Rodrigo Sánchez Haro.
