Hyperprolific? Yes but not so much. New article published in 3tres3

Genetic advances in pig farming involve a challenge for producers, veterinarians and farmers, due to the main advantage of the hyperprolific sow: greater prolificacy, to produce as many piglets as possible for sow with a good quality. However, one of the challenges with hyperprolific sows is that the larger size of the litter influences the number of stillborn piglets.

Our team of data management and analysis  published an article in the 3tres3 magazine on how affects the prolificacy of sows in the average of stillborn piglets.
