At the end of this month we will travel to Mexico to attend the XIII International Congress of Porcine Reproduction, to be held at the Hotsson Hotel in Leon, Guanajuato on March 30 and 31, 2017. It will be an excellent opportunity to approach reproductive management which are made in other parts of the world.
In the different sessions of the Congress, the most interesting and current issues in the field of swine reproduction will be addressed:
- Management in hyperprolific and in the so-called “supercerdas”
- The latest seminal analysis and testing techniques
- Reproductive strategies, global tactics
- Clinical cases with a practical approach
In the afternoon session of the second day, focused on hyperprolific sows, Carlos Piñeiro will develop how to create supersows on the farms and will approach a clinical case on hyperprolific sows.
This year, the Scientific-Organizing Committee is composed of Alberto Stephano from Mexico, Maria Nazare Lisboa from Brazil and our friend Rafael Pallas from Spain. In previous sessions the Congress has had an approximate participation of 500 attendants of more than 20 countries.
You can consult more information about the Congress in the information leaflet (.pdf) or in the web page www.congresoreproduccion. The registration period will continue open throughout the month of March.
